We were ordered to spend the night in the hall during the hurricane, with the banging of the roof door echoing in the stairwell all night. A boot broke my door down. ...the inspections, the polish, and the pennies. ...and, friends that come to mind so often.

A vacation.; I sure miss the fun @ Keesler. Marti Gras 92, the air show, the Fishbowl. PLUS, all the other drills we did. Made many friends and was knighted before leaving. I would love to relive all of that.

Horns; I remember TSgt Gombos coming into the section but what I remember most are some of the more "interesting" off-duty times we had. The '53 Mercury (as seen in Ian's photo) really got into a lot of "situations." There was a magnetic red lite (previously used in Civil Defense) that was used to pull over a couple of girls one night. I think it was also used in the incident when Maj Gen John S Hardy's sign was removed from his residence next to the runway and later placed in a parking slot at a well known bar.
Time in "The Corps" was probably the most memorable in my 8 years of heavy ground radar maintenance.

another birthday at this point; I am collecting my pictures from the Blue Knights from my era. We marched a lot during my time and have many pictures and memories with the corps! I will try to post them when I have them all scanned and enhanced. thanks for doing this web site for us to post!!!!
